“Oh Fudge”

In "Oh Fudge," Archie finds himself caught between two girls when a simple errand to buy fudge spirals into a series of miscommunications. With Veronica convinced the treat is her long-awaited surprise and Betty secretly lacing a second batch with pepper and vinegar, Archie’s good intentions lead to a sticky situation. Bill Vigoda’s expressive art brings the classic Archie charm to life, while Bob Montana’s iconic cover captures the lighthearted chaos of the moment.

When Veronica spots Archie removing gum from Betty's hair, he promises Veronica a surprise later on. Mr. Andrews sends Archie to buy fudge for his boss, but Archie decides to get fudge from Betty instead. When passing Veronica's house, Veronica thinks that the fudge is the surprise Archie promised earlier. Betty sees this and makes another batch of fudge with pepper and vinegar, which Archie ends up giving to his father's boss.
