# Lash LaRue Western #26 The issue contains two stories. "The Unofficial Assignment" follows Lash LaRue as he becomes involved with a train robbery plot; criminals have just been released from jail and are planning to rob a train carrying new currency, and Lash learns of their scheme and must stop them before they escape with the loot. "Dusty in the Boardinghouse" is a humorous backup story about a character named Dusty who moves into Ma Jones' boardinghouse but discovers the accommodations are surprisingly primitive, having previously lived in a barn that was more comfortable.
