A story titled "Brothers" by Clement Good follows a sheriff who confronts Andy at a ranch bunkhouse game to discuss a private matter. Later, a payson enters a dark back room at the loan shop where the sheriff is in trouble, and a plan unfolds involving the Cherry Gang's escape from jail, with a meeting set for midnight at the jailhouse between Daggert and the mastermind behind the scheme.
