Lash La Rue Western #78

The issue contains two main stories. In "Shoot-Out," Lash La Rue, hired as a guard for the Wells Fargo office in Nugget after gold is discovered in the hills, confronts an outlaw named Dekko who attempts to rob the safe; La Rue outwits Dekko and takes him into custody with the help of a marshal. In "The Banker's Special," La Rue must stop a banker's son and outlaws from using a young woman as a hostage during their escape after attempting a robbery.
