In the ancient past, Lucifer turns a beautiful Egyptian vampire into his consort, Purgatori. When his new love tries to suck his blood, however, he banishes her from his realm. In the present, Lady Death has defeated and absorbed Lucifer into herself and is now the ruler of hell. Purgatori, still itching for powerful blood to feast on, begins to manipulate Lady Death's memories of her human past to confuse and destabilize her. Purgatori then poses as Lady Death's mother to get close enough for a bite.
