Lady Death separates herself from Lady Demon who is trying to merge their bodies together (they used to be one being created by Lucifer). Lady Death cuts of Thanatos' head with her sword, Nightmare. Tired of being possessed by the evil influence of her sword, Lady Death tries to give up wielding Nightmare but finds that she doesn't have the strength to do so. Lady Death and Cremator confront the Arch Dukes of Hell.
