This volume continues the epic French fantasy series 'La Quête de l'oiseau du temps' (The Quest for the Time Bird), collecting the second part of the story arc 'Le Temple de l'oubli' (The Temple of Oblivion). Originally serialized in the 1980s, the series follows the quest for a mythical bird that can stop the return of an evil god, with this installment deepening the journey into mysterious and forgotten realms.
In *Le temple de l'oubli*, Jo and her companions journey to the land of the Jasir, where the sorcerer Fjel rules. With the help of the cunning Bodias, they seek a rune in the Temple of Forgetfulness that could reveal the location of the Time Bird’s nest—only to find themselves trapped by Fjel’s dark schemes, as the temple is infested with life-draining parasites. As danger closes in, Roxanna must find a way to save her friends, even as the cost of their escape becomes painfully clear.
