L'Homme invisible #1
Glénat's 2017 adaptation of H. G. Wells's The Invisible Man arrives with an immediate visual punch: Christophe Regnault's cover depicts a looming, faceless figure in a heavy coat and top hat, goggles glinting where eyes should be, rising ghost-like above snow-dusted Victorian rooftops. The monochromatic palette, shot through with an icy teal, perfectly captures the eerie dread of a man who is present yet unseen. With Dobbs scripting alongside Wells's source material and Regnault handling both pencils and inks, this promises a handsome and atmospheric French-language take on one of science fiction's most haunting characters.
