L'Agent 212 #27

Volume 27 of the beloved Belgian comedy series finds the hapless Agent 212 in gloriously chaotic trouble — the cover shows our uniformed officer being tossed and mauled between a roaring lion, a fierce mandrill, and what appears to be a lurking big cat above rocky terrain, while startled zoo visitors look on from the safety of the enclosure wall. "Fauve qui peut!" (a pun on "Sauve qui peut!" — every man for himself!) sets the comedic tone perfectly for this 2009 Dupuis release. Daniel Kox and Raoul Cauvin's long-running series remains a treat for fans of slapstick humor with a distinctly French-Belgian flair.
