L'Agent 212 #26

Volume 26 of Daniel Kox and Raoul Cauvin's beloved Belgian comedy series finds the hapless Agent 212 in hilariously dire straits — the cover shows our rotund, bug-eyed officer tumbling helplessly underwater, cheeks puffed, tongue out, surrounded by bubbles and scattered papers, with his hat and a soda can floating away. The title À l'eau police is a perfect pun, and Kox's expressive, rubbery artwork captures the character's wonderfully undignified predicament with infectious charm. Fans of classic Franco-Belgian humor comics will find this 2007 Dupuis entry as delightfully chaotic as ever.
