Kull, the Destroyer #25

From the creator of Conan comes this February 1978 Marvel adventure teased as "The Thing in the Dungeon!" — and the cover delivers exactly that menace. Ernie Chan and Rudy Nebres render a massive, fanged purple reptilian beast looming over Kull, who drives his sword straight at the creature while a blue-haired woman in chains struggles desperately beside him. It's a vivid snapshot of sword-and-sorcery peril, with writer Don Glut's story "A Lizard's Throne" promising that the dungeon terror is very much at the heart of this issue.
