This anthology issue features Captain Future battling a Nazi submarine on its cover, while the main story "Biff Powers, Big Game Hunter" follows the titular hunter and his associate Marsh as they journey to Africa in search of a rare rotalus bird for the Carson Circus, leading them through the Kivu Jungle and Palauan Mountains. A G-Man operative named Dalton works to rescue kidnapped men and stop murderous criminals, climbing telephone poles and engaging in gunfights to locate and liberate his captives. Additional Western-themed stories depict cowboys in confrontations involving deeds, land disputes, and shootouts with outlaws.
