Rodney Barnes and Jason Shawn Alexander's Killadelphia continues to deliver some of the most unsettling horror imagery in comics, and issue #17 is no exception. The cover presents a deeply chilling contrast: two children running through a blood-red landscape, seemingly carefree, while an enormous supernatural presence looms above them — its burning orange eyes weeping blood as it peers through what appears to be a door or threshold. That tension between childhood innocence and encroaching darkness is rendered with quiet dread that lingers long after you set the issue down.
