Killadelphia #16

Rodney Barnes and Jason Shawn Alexander's Eisner-nominated Killadelphia continues its run of deeply unsettling imagery with issue #16, its cover presenting a winged, supernatural figure — three haunting faces merged into one body — bound and spiraling in ribbons of inscribed text against a murky, foreboding backdrop. The teal-toned entity, part angel and part nightmare, radiates a dread that feels both sacred and profane. A worthy chapter from one of Image Comics' most visually bold horror series of 2021.
