Kamandi at Earth's End #2

Part two of DC's Elseworlds six-issue series finds Kamandi and a fierce dark-haired woman — both armed and mid-flight — being hurled through the air by a massive, monstrous hand, while grotesque mutant figures close in from either side. Frank Gomez's cover crackles with kinetic energy, pitting the two human figures against a world overrun by the savagely bizarre creatures promised in the bold tagline "Amongst the Ugly Americans!" Written by Tom Veitch with art by Gomez and inks by Mike Barreiro, this 1993 Elseworlds tale looks like a wild, post-apocalyptic ride through a world gone very, very wrong.
