☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeThis collection kicks off DC's New 52 era for the Justice League, gathering the early issues that reintroduced the team in a modern, rebooted continuity. It follows the initial formation of the League as Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, Green Lantern, Aquaman, and Cyborg unite against a looming alien threat, with appearances from Steve Trevor and Etta Candy, while also setting up the conflict with Ocean Master.
"Justice League, Part One" kicks off DC’s The New 52 with a high-stakes team-up that begins in chaos: Green Lantern and Batman clash with a seemingly rogue Superman, forcing them to call in the Flash. As tensions rise, the heroes unite around a shared secret—the Mother Box—and its sudden activation unleashes a wave of energy that not only opens a boom tube to Metropolis but also awakens the device within Dr. Stone, unleashing a surge of destructive power that critically injures Victor Stone. Written by Geoff Johns and illustrated with explosive precision by Jim Lee, with inks by Scott Williams, colors by Alex Sinclair, and letters by Patrick Brosseau, the cover by Jim Lee and Scott Williams captures the moment of collision.
