The cover tagline "And Death Holds All the Cards!" sets the stakes perfectly for this clash between the World's Greatest Super-Heroes and their card-themed villains. George Pérez and Dick Giordano deliver a wonderfully theatrical composition that makes this June 1982 issue hard to pass up.
