“Things Fall Apart”

In "Things Fall Apart," the Justice League Odyssey faces a moral crossroads as they prepare to seize control of Sepulkore—once Darkseid’s weapon, now their only hope to protect the Multiverse. With Victor wrestling with doubt over wielding such power, and on Earth, Luthor grapples with the absence of Darkseid, the team’s unity begins to strain under the weight of their impossible choice. Written by Dan Abnett and illustrated by Will Conrad, with colors by Ivan Plascencia and Pete Pantazis, this issue captures the tension of a mission that may demand more than any hero is willing to give. The cover, by Carmine Di Giandomenico and Philip Tan, with inks by Di Giandomenico and Marc Deering, reflects the gravity of the moment.

Having gathered the relics that Darkseid needs to operate Sepulkore to create a protective sphere to save the Ghost Sector from the potential destruction of the Multiverse, the heroes plan to betray Darkseid and take control of Sepulkore themselves to save the entire Multiverse. However, Victor has doubts that he can control Sepulkore. Meanwhile back on Earth, Luthor regrets not being able to locate Darkseid to make him "an offer", but Brainiac convinces him that Darkseid is no longer a factor.
