Orion, Aquawoman, Mary Marvel, Thunderer, and Dino-Cop try to protect the House of Heroes from an attack by Kalibak and Grail, while the rest of the Justice League Incarnate team find themselves on Earth 13, where the League of Shadows helps them learn where Darkseid has gone. Then they find themselves transported to the site of a cosmic battle between Darkseid and Asmodel, where they are surprised by the sudden appearance of a new Batwoman Who Laughs.
