President Superman and the Flashpoint Batman travel to Earth 0 to recruit Avery Ho to join the team as they search the Multiverse for the missing Barry Allen and the crack in the Multiverse before Darkseid can gain control of the power of the Multiverse. Their search leads them to Earth 8, which has been decimated by Tartarus, and the grieving Retaliators strike out against the Justice League Incarnate members, blaming the Multiverse for causing the destruction on their world. Doctor Multiverse joins the Incarnate members and leads them across the Multiverse in pursuit of Darkseid.
