Justice League Dark #2
The second chapter of "The Last Age of Magic" plunges DC's supernatural team headlong into one of the DCU's most mysterious locations — whatever lurks within the Tower of Fate clearly isn't welcoming visitors. The cover by Álvaro Martínez Bueno and Raúl Fernández is a beautifully chaotic tableau: Wonder Woman raises her sword defiantly at the center, Doctor Fate channels glowing magical energy at her side, Swamp Thing clings to the crumbling architecture at left, and another figure crackles with bright mystical power in the background, while a fallen armored body lies at their feet. James Tynion IV's New Justice era series looks to be leaning hard into the eerie, occult corners of the DC universe, and this issue promises that the team's visit to the Tower of Fate is anything but routine.
