Justice League Dark #1
"The Last Age of Magic Chapter 1" launches the modern era of magic in the DC Universe, as a fractured world sees spells unraveling with dangerous results. When Wonder Woman seeks out Zatanna to form a new Justice League Dark, the spellcaster refuses—until a vision of her father, Zatara, compels her to act. With Baron Winters and Jason Blood rallying sorcerers at Wintersgate Manor and Wonder Woman assembling her team at the Hall of Justice, the stage is set for a battle where magic itself may be the real enemy. Written by James Tynion IV and illustrated by Álvaro Martínez Bueno, with colors by Brad Anderson and letters by Rob Leigh, the issue’s haunting tone is matched by Greg Capullo and Jonathan Glapion’s striking cover.
