Justice League #34
Part five of the "Justice/Doom War" arrives with a cover that pulls no punches: Batman, Wonder Woman, Superman, Hawkgirl, Green Lantern, The Flash, and their allies are shown battered and crashing downward while a towering, pale villain looms triumphant above them — and the bold proclamation "DOOM WINS!" leaves little room for optimism. A rogues' gallery of DC's most dangerous faces lines the top of the cover, underscoring just how stacked the odds are against the League. Francis Manapul's cover art captures the raw weight of a team pushed to its absolute limits, making this Scott Snyder and James Tynion IV–written chapter feel like a genuine turning point in the war between justice and doom.
