The "Forever Evil" aftermath takes a striking turn in this 2014 New 52 entry, as a confident, arms-crossed Lex Luthor plants himself front and center — flanked by Batman, Wonder Woman, Shazam, Aquaman, Cyborg, and a white-costumed figure — against a churning green backdrop that crackles with electricity. It's a genuinely arresting image, penciled by Ivan Reis and inked by Joe Prado, that positions Luthor not as a villain lurking in the shadows but as someone who clearly believes he belongs among Earth's greatest heroes. Geoff Johns kicks off "Injustice League, Chapter One" here, and this cover alone makes a compelling case that the League's roster is about to look very different.
