“The Totality Part 3”

Part three of Scott Snyder and Jorge Jiménez's "The Totality" arc arrives with one of 2018's most striking covers: a tattooed, green-eyed figure in a blue Lantern-style suit dominates the foreground, a glowing power ring clenched in his fist, as the tagline declares "From the Darkness, a New Power Ring!" Behind him, Wonder Woman, The Flash, Cyborg, and Aquaman are scattered in apparent chaos amid crackling energy. Jiménez's linework is sharp and kinetic, and Alejandro Sánchez's cool blue palette gives the whole image an eerie, cosmic charge that makes it hard to put down.

Controlled by the Ultraviolet light, John Stewart attacks the League, but is stopped by Cyborg. Inside the Totality, Superman and J'onn, with Batman and Hawkgirl inside their bodies, deal with strange forces, unaware that Luthor is also inside Superman's body and has a plan of his own. Freed from the influence of the Ultraviolet light, John warns the League about Umbrax, a sentient black sun of a phantom galaxy that moves through space feeding on worlds, which was previously imprisoned but is now free.
