In "null," thief Slade Carter makes a desperate bid to steal gold from Joan's father's mine, only to be betrayed by his own pet cheetah—once mistreated, now unleashed in fury. The animal's sudden turn sets off a chain of events that thwarts Carter's escape, leaving Joan and the mine's secrets hanging in the balance.
In a forgotten corner of the jungle, a sudden landslide uncovers a hidden cave, releasing a tribe descended from ancient Egyptians who quickly enslave the local N'goris. When Tabu and N'mino set out to free them, they must confront the echoes of a buried past—before the cave’s secrets are unleashed again.
In "null," a woman posing as Camilla aids slavers in capturing villagers, but the real Camilla uncovers the deception, liberates the enslaved, and turns the tide by ensnaring the slavers with fire-maddened animals.
