From Marvel's early-1970s jungle-adventure series comes this April 1973 issue featuring Tharn, Lord of the Jungle, in a desperate mid-air struggle — spear raised against a lunging big cat while a dark-haired woman in red recoils beside him and tribal warriors close in from the background. Gil Kane's pencils and Frank Giacoia's inks give the cover a raw, kinetic energy that practically leaps off the newsstand.
