This October 1952 issue of Fiction House's long-running anthology delivers a genuinely chilling cover centerpiece for "Death Bars the Door — A Weird Ghost Gallery Thriller," depicting a skeletal, robed specter clutching a ring of keys while looming over a fallen woman in yellow and a horrified harlequin figure in a heart-adorned costume. Surrounding the main scene, four inset panels tease the issue's other features — Sheena brandishing a knife in her leopard-skin outfit, aerial action in War Aces, a goggled alien in Space Scouts, and a shadowy confrontation in The Eye.
