Jughead: The Hunger #4

This Archie's Madhouse horror series takes a very dark turn with issue #4 of Jughead: The Hunger, and Adam Gorham's cover makes the stakes unmistakably clear — a massive, snarling werewolf wearing Jughead's signature crown lunges forward, its gore-drenched claws and snapping jaws rendered in visceral, blood-soaked detail against a fiery orange backdrop. The title logo itself bears deep claw marks, reinforcing just how far Riverdale's laid-back everyman has fallen from Pop's Chocklit Shoppe. With writing by Frank Tieri and interior art from Pat and Tim Kennedy alongside Joe Eisma, this 2018 series proves there's real teeth to Archie horror done right.
