Jughead: The Hunger #11

Issue eleven of Archie's Madhouse horror series delivers a genuinely unsettling cover by Adam Gorham — a hulking, snarling werewolf figure looms in the foreground while a second beast with glowing white eyes and blood-tinged jaws emerges beneath it, both rendered in deep shadow against an eerie green-lit background. The claw marks slashing through the title logo set the tone perfectly for this dark reimagining of Riverdale's most laid-back resident. With Frank Tieri writing and Joe Eisma on interior art, Jughead: The Hunger continues to be one of the more gloriously grim corners of the Archie universe in 2019.
