Jughead #144
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeAn art class assignment to "paint your favorite hero" leads to wonderfully predictable results in this 1967 Archie Series gem — Jughead, decked out in a beret and smock, is hard at work painting an enormous sandwich, while a girl in an orange coat paints a portrait of Archie, and another student works on a canvas nearby, much to the visible dismay of the teacher watching from the doorway. Cover pencils by Bill Vigoda and inks by Jon D'Agostino make the scene pop with vibrant color and the warm, playful humor that made Riverdale so endearing.
