In "null," Jughead finds himself in a cafeteria transformed by Principal Stanger’s bizarre new menu of high nutrition gruel, sparking a surreal daydream in which he battles a dragon for the last hamburger. The story captures Jughead’s trademark wit and hunger, set against the absurdity of school life under a new regime.
In "The Legend of Slackbeard!", Jughead spins a swashbuckling tale of pirate adventure while daydreaming through gym class, chasing the mythical recipe for Pop's legendary chocolate milkshake. Meanwhile, in a more grounded (but no less absurd) twist, he enlists Dilton to hack into Principal Stanger’s computer, hoping to uncover the truth behind the school’s most enigmatic authority figure.
In "Super Teens: Deadly Ringers!" from Jughead #1 (2016), Jughead and the gang dive into a mystery at Sunnyside Mall while investigating Principal Stanger—only to stumble upon eerily familiar teens who seem too good to be true. After a strange dream about the Super Teens defending Pop's from an unknown threat, Jughead wakes to find the diner shut down, leaving more questions than answers.
