About this Collection

This collection reprints issues from the 2017 Jughead series, following the crown-wearing teen as he navigates Riverdale High with his trademark appetite and laid-back wit. Written by Ryan North with art by Derek Charm, the stories highlight Jughead's deadpan humor and his unique perspective on the absurdities of teenage life, all while staying true to the classic Archie Comics spirit.

In "The Boys of Summer!", Jughead takes center stage at Riverdale High’s art show with his edible self-portrait, "Grubhead," earning top honors over Dilton’s algorithmic masterpiece. Back at Pop’s, a new mascot in a hamburger suit stirs unexpected feelings in Jughead, sparking a series of awkward daydreams and a secret crush that leaves the gang scrambling to help him navigate the dating scene. Written by Ryan North and illustrated by Derek Charm, this charming, offbeat story captures Jughead’s quirky heart and the absurd charm of Riverdale, all wrapped in a cover by Derek Charm.
