Published under the Marvel NOW! banner in 2013, this issue of Journey into Mystery promises "The Fury of Fenris! (And Other Terrifically Tall Tales)" — and the cover by Jeff Dekal delivers on that energy, depicting a group of Asgardian figures including a hammer-wielding Thor, a sorceress-like woman with a glowing emblem, a bearded warrior, a young girl, and a helmeted fighter, all surging forward as if launched from the jaws of an enormous unseen beast. Kathryn Immonen and Pepe Larraz bring the interior to life, with Jordie Bellaire's coloring bathing the whole scene in a striking golden light that crackles with lightning. If you enjoy Asgardian adventure told with a touch of wit — that subtitle is doing real work — this one looks like a fine addition to the run.
