Two detectives with different attitudes toward voodoo track down a blackmailer. To prove he is a fraud the younger detective gives the shaman a lock of hair for one of the dolls. When they find someone to testify against him they attempt to arrest him. The shaman threatens the detective by holding the doll out the window. The younger detective scoffs but he drops the doll and falls out the window. The younger detective is puzzled but his partner explains he switched the hair he handed the priest with some of his own hair he got off the bed - just to be on the safe side.
