Jonny Quest #3

Dynamite's 2024 revival of Jonny Quest plunges the team into the deep in issue #3, with Chad Hardin's cover delivering a vivid underwater scene — Jonny himself surging toward us in scuba gear, his trusty bulldog Bandit trotting along in a bubble helmet below, while teammates in diving suits flank them and massive pink tentacles coil ominously around the whole group. It's a wonderfully kinetic image that captures the series' blend of adventure-serial excitement and classic cartoon charm. Writer Joe Casey and artist Sebastián Piriz continue their run with "Big in Japan," and if this cover is any indication, the Quest crew's troubles are anything but small.
