Jonah Hex: Two-Gun Mojo #2
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freePart of DC/Vertigo's 1993 Two-Gun Mojo miniseries, this second chapter — "Invitation to a Hanging" — finds the scarred bounty hunter Jonah Hex crouched amid a field of open coffins, revolver raised and bandoliers crossed over his chest, while two pale, unsettling figures loom from the coffins flanking him and two fallen bodies lie sprawled at his feet. Tim Truman's cover art captures a genuinely eerie blend of Western grit and gothic dread, with the stacked coffins and gaunt lurking figures hinting at something darker than a straightforward frontier showdown. Joe R. Lansdale's script and Sam Glanzman's inks round out a creative team clearly committed to pushing Hex into stranger, more unsettling territory.
