Paul Grist's "Britain's Greatest Hero" gets urgent in this 2008 Image series entry, where the cover lays out the stakes in no uncertain terms — a gaunt, wild-eyed villain in a sweeping red cape demands you "Buy this comic… or the world will die!" Surrounding him in a dynamic panel-within-panel composition are a masked hero gripping a Union Jack-emblazoned staff, a startled young woman in glasses, and a sharp-suited figure lurking in the background. Grist's clean, expressive linework and Eric Stephenson's bold colors give the whole thing an energetic charm that makes issue #15 hard to pass up.
