Iron Man #3

Part three of Warren Ellis and Adi Granov's "Extremis" arc finds Tony Stark in a quietly arresting pose — clad in the red-and-gold armor yet holding his helmet rather than wearing it, his expression somewhere between resolve and uncertainty against a stormy sky. Granov's painted cover art gives Stark a strikingly human presence, the gleaming suit and the unguarded face working in deliberate contrast. If the first two issues drew you in, this one makes a strong case for seeing the story through to its conclusion.
