“The Return of K'un Lun Part One: Dark Horizon”

Iron Fist and Wolverine make a formidable pairing in this 2000 Marvel four-issue series, as cover artist Jamal Igle launches "The Return of K'un Lun" with a kinetic image of the two heroes bursting through a circular stone gateway, claws extended and fists ready, while a surrounding crowd of masked, shadowy figures closes in around them. The subtitle alone promises that the mystical city of K'un Lun is back in play, setting the stage for a story that blends martial arts intensity with Wolverine's signature ferocity. With Jay Faerber writing and Jamal Igle on art throughout, this opener looks like a smart team-up for fans of both characters.
