Incredible Hulk #80

Part four of Peter David's "Tempest Fugit" arc arrives with a cover by Lee Weeks that puts two of Marvel's heaviest hitters front and center — the Hulk looming enormous in the background while a claws-bared Wolverine crouches in his classic yellow-and-blue suit at his side. There's a palpable tension in their shared stance, somewhere between uneasy alliance and barely contained aggression, rendered with real muscle and weight by Weeks's linework. If the first three chapters have been building toward something, this penultimate installment looks primed to deliver.
