Incredible Hulk #52
The third chapter of "Dark Mind, Dark Hearts" arrives with a cover by Kaare Andrews that captures the fractured psyche at the heart of this series — a haunted, wide-eyed Bruce Banner in the foreground, his glasses askew, while two roaring, anguished Hulk faces loom behind him like nightmares clawing their way to the surface. The monochromatic green palette and oppressive darkness give the whole image a psychological tension that feels genuinely unsettling. Bruce Jones and Mike Deodato Jr. continue their run on the title with this 2003 installment, and Andrews' cover alone makes a compelling case for picking it up.
