Incredible Hercules #138

Part of the "Assault on New Olympus" banner, this 2010 Marvel issue puts a roaring Hercules front and center — muscles coiled, arm outstretched in command — flanked by Spider-Man crouching in the upper left and a glowing, kneeling Spider-Woman at his side. Adi Granov's painted cover work gives the whole composition a vivid, almost cinematic weight that's hard to ignore. The issue also features the Agents of Atlas, making this an action-packed package for fans of the broader Marvel mythological corner of 2010.
