Im Schatten des Neumonds #3
The third chapter of Im Schatten des Neumonds arrives in this 1989 comicplus+ edition, with Philippe Adamov handling pencils, inks, and color to stunning effect. The cover draws the eye immediately to a sleek vessel coiled in the grip of a great serpentine creature, its hull carrying a group of characters — among them a caped figure, a young woman with striking auburn hair, and several others — set against a misty cityscape pierced by dramatic beams of light, with exotic birds wheeling overhead. Patrick Cothias and Adamov clearly have a bold, atmospheric world to offer in "Der Prinz und die Puppe," and this cover alone makes a compelling case for diving in.
