The second volume of Im Schatten des Neumonds arrives in 1989 with "Das Rauschen der Wellen," and Philippe Adamov's cover art immediately pulls you in — a masked, richly costumed figure in flowing red-orange robes strikes a dramatic pose against a crumbling stone backdrop, while a grand baroque cityscape with an obelisk stretches out beneath a moody twilight sky.
