The Hunter-Killer squad has a difficult time bringing in a small town sheriff whose ultra-sapien power is to cause others to commit suicide. Wading through a whole town full of dead folks, Samantha and Ellis are able to talk Sheriff Leonard into coming back to base with them and, much to everyone's surprise, Morningstar shoots him in the head.
