Luke and the Avengers bust Shang-Chi and the Wolfpack out of prison but their rescue attempt is interrupted by the Brotherhood. The humans battle for their lives against the mutants and win while looking good in front of the media as they present the reality of sapien persecution to the public. With unrest over the strong-arm tactics of Thunderbird causing negative publicity and with his defeat at the hands of the Avengers, Magneto disbands the Brotherhood. Some of the heroes decide to leave for Wakanda and the rest plan to stay behind and continue as Avengers.
