Trip and Solon Rey return home to New York, only to find Gorkill Corpus asleep in Trip's bed. After fighting each other for a while, they both decide to sit down and have a chat. Elsewhere, Wrath attacks a secret branch of the Faithful to steal an old newsreel of the Paxis for Paragon John. Later, after taking Solon Rey and Gorkill to the hospital to visit his friend Mona Lisa, Bloodshed turns up at Trip's house to kill him and Gorkill.
