Peter Milligan and Alison Sampson bring Hit-Girl to the subcontinent in this penultimate chapter of the India arc, and Declan Shalvey's cover captures the chaos beautifully — Hit-Girl, cape streaming behind her and pistol blazing with a bright muzzle flash, rides shotgun on the back of a bicycle pedaled hard by a young boy as debris and smoke erupt around them. It's a single image that says everything about this series: relentless forward motion, unlikely partnerships, and a kid who refuses to stop shooting no matter what's collapsing in her wake. With the four-part story heading into its final stretch, this 2019 issue is a propulsive read from a creative team clearly having a great time in a new setting.
