Hero Camp #4

Issue four of Image's Hero Camp delivers a cover that's hard to miss: a massive, roaring purple gorilla — fitted with a mind-control helmet bristling with antennae — clutches a bespectacled kid in a green shirt atop its enormous fist, all set against a city skyline backdrop. It's a wonderfully absurd mashup of classic monster-movie imagery and superhero-school comedy that captures the series' offbeat tone perfectly.
